History
In 1404 AH, the Department of Animal Sciences was established under the directive of the Ministry of Higher Education as an undergraduate program within the Faculty of Agriculture at Laghman University. Currently, two lecturers are engaged in teaching activities in the department, and a proposal for further staffing has been submitted.

1-Vision:
The Department of Animal Sciences trains professional cadres at the bachelor’s level in various fields of animal husbandry, grounded in national and Islamic values, to serve society.

2-Mission:
The Department of Animal Sciences, aiming to contribute to a self-reliant and sustainable economy in the field of animal husbandry, implements academic and research programs in animal feeding and nutrition, animal genetics and breeding, and animal management. It educates qualified specialists at the bachelor’s level to actively contribute to the development of agriculture and society.
