Message from the Dean of the Faculty of Sharia, Laghman University

Laghman University is one of Afghanistan's emerging public higher education institutions. Although only fourteen years have passed since its establishment, the University has achieved remarkable progress in both academic quality and institutional development. Through its continuous commitment to excellence, it has been honored with the Center of Excellence in Quality Assurance Award, alongside a number of leading universities in the country.

In order to further strengthen institutional quality, ensure sustainability, and accomplish the University's strategic goals, it is essential that all available resources—both human and financial—are utilized effectively, efficiently, and within a well-organized institutional framework.

In line with the policies and directives of the Ministry of Higher Education, and in response to the University's academic and societal needs, the leadership of the Faculty of Sharia has developed comprehensive plans to promote academic excellence and institutional development. Our mission is to educate and graduate professionally competent, ethically responsible, patriotic, and compassionate individuals who are firmly grounded in Islamic and national values. We aspire to prepare graduates capable of making meaningful contributions to the religious, intellectual, moral, economic, and social advancement of society.

We remain committed to providing a dynamic academic environment that fosters knowledge, research, innovation, and community service in accordance with national priorities and Islamic principles.
