History of the Department of Chemistry:
The Ministry of Higher Education, with the aim of fulfilling the national interests and academic needs of the country, established the Department of Chemistry at Laghman University in 2017, officially marking the beginning of its academic activities. It is worth noting that from 2013 to 2017, the Faculty of Education operated a joint Department of Chemistry and Biology. In 2017, the Ministry of Higher Education made the important decision to transition this department from the classical system to the credit-based system, aligning it with modern academic standards. Currently, the department hosts four active classes, with a total enrollment of 150 students who are actively pursuing their higher education.
